Emmanuel Macron and Benjamin Netanyahu held a press conference on July 16th, 2017 following the Paris Vel d'Hiv ceremony and the private discussion between the two leaders.
Both of them put the stress on the importance of the bilateral collaboration and specifically in innovation.
President Macron referred to his visit in Israel for the 2015 DLD event and noticed the “vitality of the Israeli ecosystem”. He announced the coming visit of his Minister of Economy, encouraging the collaboration in economy, digital, cyber security.
The Israeli Prime Minister showed determination to strengthen the cooperation in the fields of technology and innovation. He invited President Macron to visit Israel – to be expected in 2018.
