The Bourget, also known as Paris Air Show, ended last Sunday and represents another exceptional event of the past week for technology and innovation: during this show, existing since 1909, new technologies were unveiled and Israeli companies were one more time present. Among the 10 Israeli aeronautic companies exhibiting during the event, Rafael unveiled a laser based drone interception system and a new Spike missile, Ashot Ashkelon unveiled a hybrid emergency aircraft engine and Aeronautics exhibited its first military drone, the Pegasus 120.
The last event of STMicroelectronics, a French-Italian company, was a success for the company and the participants, who could either present their technologies or learn more about the current state of innovation. For this special event, the French Ambassador, Helene Le Gal, had the occasion to test a new self-driving car which can see in the dark, to discover the brand new technologies presented by STMicroelectronics and, to finish with, she was invited to assist to a pitch session by innovative start-ups and to award a price to one of the start-ups pitching: TeinT.
Tel Aviv is hosting for the 6th time one of the biggest event regarding innovation: the DLD Tel Aviv Innovation Festival, which will take place in September 3-7th with over 10 000 attendees gathering around digital innovation.
